KATHLEEN N. WILLIAMS
Licensed Substance Abuse Associate (LSAA)

Kathleen N. Williams, LSAA, is an Albuquerque-born addiction counselor who brings both lived experience and genuine compassion to her work in recovery. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Grand Canyon University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, deepening her clinical foundation while remaining rooted in person-centered care.
Kathleen has supported individuals across a range of settings, including correctional facilities, outpatient Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and one-on-one substance use counseling. Her own recovery journey is what first called her to this field, giving her a profound understanding of the courage, vulnerability, and resilience required to rebuild one’s life.
Drawn to holistic approaches to healing, Kathleen believes recovery extends beyond behavior change to include reconnection with the mind, body, and spirit. This perspective guides her work as she helps clients build self-awareness, access inner strength, and create meaningful, sustainable change from within.
Kathleen is committed to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, accepted, and supported. She approaches each individual with warmth, curiosity, and respect, walking alongside them as they rediscover their identity beyond the past and reconnect with their inherent capacity to heal and thrive.
